Curiosity

Today I was having a conversation with a friend. We were talking about something she wanted to do that is against her religion, culture and morals(don't worry it doesn't involve murdering someone). It was something she was curious about and just wanted to experience, of course I'm not going to mention what it is since it will be against her will but we talked about it and I told her a thing or two  I learnt about curiosity through out my experiences. Us people are curious about almost all things. That is one of the things that make us different from animals, we get curious and we ask questions, then want to experience then it just keeps going. Curiosity can be parted into 2. The good and the bad curiosity. The good curiosity is the kind of curiosity that made Isaac Newton wonder what made an apple fall off a tree, later on to study it and discover GRAVITY.  It is those kind of curiosities that can actually bring change to our lives.

And there are the bad ones, which we will regret after going through it. Just because you are curious about everything as a human being it doesn't mean you should go out and try everything possible. Even If I am a big believer of being a spontaneous person, there are somethings we should clearly think of before jumping into it, after all we are human beings and not animals. The thing that is on top of our body, yeah I'm talking about the brain, it is there so we can use it. Just like any physical part of our body, let's take legs for instance, we have them but if we don't use it we can't walk, same for the brain, it is there but it also needs our intellects. It does't mean we will always know what the outcome would be but we need to ask first if that thing(whatever it maybe) is really worth it. So before you go forward with anything you are curious about ask yourself "how is this going to help me on becoming a better person and finding new paths?" Doing so can also boost up your confidence in ways you can't even imagine.
