Open mindedness
Open-mindedness is simply opening the mind!(not literally of course, duh!) don't get stuck in your mind, in your own thoughts and whatever it is you have up there. It is a spectacular thing to listen to yourself and what your mind have to say and most times it is really helpful and guides your way but it doesn't necessarily mean you are always right. You might think you are but you might not be. Now, this is when being an open-minded person comes in handy, you get to listen to different voices that are not coming from your mind(not this time!). So the whole point of this is us people we see things from one point of view or two or three, but there will always be someone else who saw it from a totally different angle, that you didn't see. So, us being open minded about different things helps us to have different options and ideas. It can be in our personal life, our studies, it can even be in a big business agreements. Having to get that different idea won't be a bad thing. Now, of course not every time the person giving the advice is really the best, but will listening kill you? Listen, understand , go through every possible ideas you got, identify the pros and cons, write it down if you have to, then decide!
I know this is a cliche example that you might have seen a million times before but I can't seriously think of any other description for the topic I am talking about.
Being open minded is also something that comes with practice, here we go again with the practice! Since every one of us come from different families, culture, environment and all, it might be difficult at first but once you open those ears and that mind the game changes. So, my fellow women, practice listening and open-mindedness.
